Happiness and satisfaction can seem almost universally elusive, but the choice to pursue therapy is a deeply personal one. Perhaps you’re struggling with life transitions or loss, grappling with feelings of grief and confusion. Maybe you’ve experienced trauma, and are trying to figure out how to cope and move forward. Issues of identity may be front and center for you, causing personal anguish or even interpersonal conflict. Or maybe it’s hard to even put your suffering into words, but you know you’re in pain or that things just feel “off.”
I work with NY- and NJ-based individuals and couples of diverse intersecting identities and a wide array of concerns, including issues surrounding gender and sexuality, trauma and PTSD, ADHD, sexual abuse and assault, depression, and anxiety. Relationships are often a focus, whether with self or others—including the one we create together.
The constellation of factors that bring you here are unique to you, and together we will start exactly where you are. I view therapy as a collaborative relationship built on trust, curiosity, humility, and respect, and firmly believe that what you bring into the room is exactly right. I would be honored to explore working together.
