Before earning my Master of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology in 2021, I gained experience working with the emotional needs of senior adults and frail elderly, caregivers, as well as workplace injuries, ADHD, and autism spectrum disorder. This background and my ongoing commitment to learning provide me with the knowledge and experience to help you address issues related to grief, depression, anxiety, stress, relationships, neurodivergent challenges, life transitions, and the traumatic effects of family violence.
It can be difficult to reach out and trust someone with your thoughts, fears, emotions, and experiences. In my therapeutic practice, from a place of empathy, compassion, and authenticity, I strive to provide a safe and non-judgmental environment where the therapeutic relationship is of utmost importance. I strongly believe it is best that the therapeutic model is tailored to meet the client’s needs, so I use a flexible, person-centered, culturally sensitive, and trauma-informed approach to therapy. I also believe that we all possess our best answers within ourselves, so I will give you the support and help you need to access that wisdom.
I strive to meet you wherever you are in your journey and partner with you in this collaborative relationship to help you clarify and explore what is driving or maintaining your difficult experience, acquire skills, renew hope, and build the emotional strength you need.
