I’m Sara Forcella, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and EMDRIA Certified EMDR Therapist offering ongoing outpatient therapy and EMDR intensives for adults 25 and older. I provide virtual outpatient therapy throughout North Carolina and in-person therapy and intensives in Raleigh.
I specialize in relational and complex trauma, including the lasting effects of painful relationships, childhood experiences, emotionally immature parents, and attachment wounds. Many of my clients understand why they struggle but still find themselves caught in self-doubt, people-pleasing, or familiar relationship patterns.
My approach is relational and attachment-informed. I integrate EMDR with IFS-informed parts work and somatic approaches to help us make sense of how your past continues to shape your present. Together, we’ll work toward helping you feel more connected to yourself and more secure in your relationships.
I bring expertise, structure, and guidance while respecting you as the expert on your lived experience. You’ll know what we’re working on and why, with room for your questions, preferences, and feedback throughout the process. You don’t have to do therapy “right” here.
My practice is LGBTQ+ affirming, body-neutral, and grounded in cultural humility. Visit my website to learn more about outpatient therapy, EMDR intensives, and current availability.
